About This Community
The state electorate of Bega has an approximate area of 9,800 km².
It is comprised of 124 suburbs including Akolele, Angledale, Bald Hills, Barragga Bay, Batehaven, Batemans Bay, Bega, Bergalia, Bermagui, Berrambool, Bimbimbie, Bingie, Black Range, Bournda, Boydtown, Broadwater, Broulee, Buckajo, Burragate, Cadgee, Candelo, Catalina, Central Tilba, Chinnock and Cobargo plus parts of another 3 suburbs.
It is comprised of the localities of Belowra, Bemboka, Benandarah, Bodalla, Brogo, Buckenbowra, Coolangubra, Deua, Deua River Valley, Dignams Creek, Nadgee, Nerrigundah, Nullica, Tantawangalo, Towamba, Wamban, Wyndham, Yambulla, Yankees Creek and Yowrie plus parts of Cathcart, Currowan, Neringla, Nungatta and Wadbilliga.
It is comprised of the councils of Bega Valley and Eurobodalla.
It is surrounded by the state electorates of Gippsland East, Monaro and South Coast.
It is comprised of parts of the federal electorates of Eden-monaro and Gilmore.
