The state electorate of Wagga Wagga has an approximate area of 12,000 km².

It is comprised of 87 suburbs including Adelong, Alfredtown, Ashmont, Bangadang, Belfrayden, Black Creek, Bombowlee, Bombowlee Creek, Bomen, Boorooma, Bourkelands, Brucedale, Brungle, Brungle Creek, Bulgary, Burrandana, Califat, Cartwrights Hill, Charles Sturt University, Cooleman, Cooleys Creek, Couragago, Cullivel, Darlow and Dhulura plus parts of another 3 suburbs.

It is comprised of 34 localities including Argalong, Batlow, Bidgeemia, Big Springs, Bimberi, Blowering, Bogong Peaks Wilderness, Book Book, Borambola, Brookdale, Brookong, Collingullie, Currawarna, Goobarragandra, Kyeamba, Lockhart, Mangoplah, Milbrulong, Munyabla, Oberne Creek, Osborne, Oura, Pinbeyan, Pleasant Hills and Pulletop plus parts of another 15 localities.

It is comprised of the councils of Lockhart and Wagga Wagga plus parts of Snowy Valleys.

It is surrounded by the state electorates of Albury, Brindabella, Cootamundra, Goulburn and Monaro.

It is comprised of parts of the federal electorates of Eden-monaro and Riverina.
