About This Community
The state electorate of Keppel has an approximate area of 25,000 km².
It is comprised of 43 suburbs including Adelaide Park, Bangalee, Barlows Hill, Barmaryee, Barmoya, Bondoola, Bungundarra, Causeway Lake, Cawarral, Cobraball, Cooee Bay, Coorooman, Coowonga, Emu Park, Greenlake, Hidden Valley, Inverness, Ironpot, Joskeleigh, Keppel Sands, Kinka Beach, Lake Mary, Lakes Creek, Lammermoor and Limestone Creek plus parts of another 7 suburbs.
It is comprised of the localities of Byfield, Farnborough, Nankin, Stockyard, The Keppels and Thompson Point plus parts of Canal Creek and Shoalwater.
It is within the council of Livingstone.
It is surrounded by the state electorates of Gladstone, Mirani and Rockhampton.
It is comprised of parts of the Capricornia federal electorate.
