Occupational Therapy & Assessment

Kids At Max provides occupational therapy for children and adolescents through a flexible, family-focused service model. Families can book appointments sessions in clinic, at home, at school and via telehealth. The process generally begins with an assessment to explore each child’s strengths, challenges and support needs, followed by a personalised therapy plan with practical goals and strategies for everyday life.

Our occupational therapists support children and teens in areas such as fine and gross motor development, coordination, sensory processing, attention, emotional regulation, self-care skills and school participation. Therapy is designed to be engaging and meaningful, using play-based activities and practical home strategies to build confidence, independence and functional skills. When needed, our occupational therapists also work alongside psychologists and speech pathologists to provide coordinated care. Funding options include NDIS, Medicare, Private Health Insurance and TAC.
