About This Community
The state electorate of Buninyong has an approximate area of 3,100 km².
It is comprised of 80 suburbs including Balliang East, Bamganie, Barkstead, Beremboke, Berringa, Blakeville, Bolwarrah, Bonshaw, Bunding, Bungal, Bungaree, Buninyong, Bunkers Hill, Cambrian Hill, Canadian, Cape Clear, Cargerie, Clarendon, Claretown, Clarkes Hill, Colbrook, Corindhap, Dereel, Dunnstown and Durdidwarrah plus parts of another 13 suburbs.
It is comprised of the localities of Ballan and Meredith plus parts of Anakie and Balliang.
It is comprised of parts of the councils of Ballarat City, Golden Plains Shire and Moorabool Shire.
It is surrounded by the state electorates of Lara, Macedon, Melton, Polwarth, Ripon, Wendouree and Werribee.
It is comprised of parts of the federal electorates of Ballarat and Corangamite.
