Goovigen State School P & C

The Goovigen State School is located on Rannes Road within the beautiful little country town of Goovigen, 43km from Biloela.

At Goovigen State School the philosophy of a supportive school is embedded within the school culture and is reflected with a code of behavior based on a set of principles that are understood, accepted and practiced by all members of the school community. At the heart of our planning is a shared vision of children who respect themselves, others, learning and the environment. The school works as a close-knit, family-oriented community and focuses the energies, expertise, abilities and resources of our staff, our students, their families, and the local community, to create a culture of excellence. 

The Goovigen P&C Association is a small but very dedicated band of parents and citizens, who are very active in our community and plays a vital role in raising money to support our students and our school. Our current mission is to establish an eKindy Pod at Goovigen to give local children access to a Kindy education. Enrollments are open now for the 2019 year-come and say hi!
