The Fraser Coast Community Directory serves the coastal region encompassing Hervey Bay, Maryborough and the surrounding hinterland in south‑east Queensland. Famous for whale watching, Fraser Island (K’gari), heritage buildings and sugarcane farming, the region attracts residents and tourists alike. The directory offers an extensive database of medical services, family support, aged care, schools, volunteer groups, arts organisations, sporting clubs and environmental initiatives, making it easy to discover activities and services along the Fraser Coast.

Fraser Coast Region

Fraser Coast Council has an approximate area of 8,000 km².

It is comprised of the state electorates of Hervey Bay and Maryborough plus parts of Gympie.
