Lacewing Psychology

Provides online psychological services for adults (aged 18 years and over). The service is based in Far North Queensland and offers telehealth appointments to individuals across Australia, with a particular focus on supporting those living in regional and rural areas.

The practice is led by a registered psychologist with 26 years of professional experience across diverse roles and settings. This includes extensive experience supporting adults presenting with anxiety, depression, stress-related conditions, trauma (including PTSD and complex PTSD), grief and loss, adjustment difficulties, emotional regulation concerns, and interpersonal or relationship challenges.

Therapeutic Approach: The primary therapeutic modality is Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), complemented by other evidence-based psychological therapies tailored to each individual’s needs.

Referrals and Rebates: Individuals with a Mental Health Care Plan may be eligible for Medicare rebates. Services are also available to self-funded clients and those covered by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA).
