About Us
Saver Plus is a free financial education program that matches your savings dollar-for-dollar, up to $500. Saver Plus is the world’s largest and longest-running financial education program. It is delivered by community organisations across Australia.
The program assists individuals and families on lower incomes to develop long-term saving habits and reach a savings goal. Participants are paired with a savings coach and make regular deposits towards an agreed goal over a 10-month period.
They attend online workshops to learn tips, tricks and information to grow their budgeting and savings skills. Once they reach their agreed goal, ANZ matches their savings dollar-for-dollar, up to $500. This money can be used towards education costs such as uniforms, textbooks, laptops, extra-curricular activities such as sport and music, or apprenticeship costs.
To be eligible for Saver Plus, you must meet all of the following criteria:
- Have a Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card
- Receive an eligible Commonwealth social security benefit, allowance or payment*
- Be studying yourself or have a child in school (can be starting school next year)
- Have regular income from work (you or your partner)
- Be 18+ years old
* Many income types and Centrelink payments may qualify. Not sure if you qualify? Just fill out the enquiry form and a Savings Coach will reach out to you.
