About This Community
The federal electorate of Melbourne has an approximate area of 46 km².
It is comprised of the suburbs of Abbotsford, Ascot Vale, Burnley, Carlton, Carlton North, Collingwood, Cremorne, East Melbourne, Fitzroy, Flemington, Kensington, North Melbourne, Parkville, Princes Hill, Richmond, Travancore and West Melbourne plus parts of Docklands, Fitzroy North and Melbourne.
It is comprised of parts of the councils of Melbourne City, Moonee Valley City and Yarra City.
It is comprised of the state electorate of Melbourne plus parts of Brunswick, Essendon and Richmond.
It is surrounded by the federal electorates of Batman, Gellibrand, Higgins, Kooyong, Maribyrnong, Melbourne Ports and Wills.
